POEM:I’m Not MERRY This CHRISTMAS

    I

    I’m not merry this Christmas
    Cos I’m ignored and unnoticed

    I’m not merry this Christmas
    Cos I’m famished and grieved

    I’m not merry this Christmas
Cos I have needs that your Christ won’t give

    I’m not merry this Christmas
    Cos my dreams don’t live

    I’m not merry this Christmas
Cos you didn’t smile at me

    I’m not merry this Christmas
Cos you left me on the streets

    I’m not merry this Christmas
Cos you didn’t come for me

    I’m not Merry this Christmas
Cos my Christ didn’t come to me

As we celebrate Christmas, let’s not forget the poor, the destitute and the ones who have no idea what today is because nothing seems different for them. Let’s reach out and be a blessing to them. Let’s reach out and go for them. Let’s reach out and be their Christ this Christmas.
